CROWES MILLS – A fire that destroyed an abandoned farm on Nov. 27 has been deemed suspicious.

At approximately 6:40 p.m. Nov. 27, Colchester District RCMP and firefighters with the Onslow Belmont Fire Brigade, responded to a report of a fire at an abandoned barn on Crowes Mills Road. Neighbouring fire departments provided assistance in fighting the blaze.

The barn was unoccupied and no one was injured.

The fire is considered suspicious and the investigation is ongoing.
