A Journey to Bethlehem

Family Dynamics presents “A Journey to Bethlehem”, a play about the First Christmas, presented by the children of the Immaculate Conception Church, on Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a Christmas social in Campbell Hall. Come out and enjoy an evening filled with Christmas joy, as we journey back to Bethlehem! Tickets are $5 (children 5 and under free), and available at MacQuarries Pharmasave and in Campbell Hall, Immaculate Conception Church, 669 Prince St., Truro, after 9 a.m. Sunday mass.

Nativity in the Village

Join the folks of St. David's United outside on the Bible Hill Village Hall grounds on Dec. 17 as they present their annual Nativity story re-enactment.  Drop in around 6:30 p.m. and hear the carolers singing on the street corner, pick up a hot cider or hot chocolate at the "Inn With No Room", mingle with the shepherds and villagers, and follow them to Bethlehem at 7 p.m. to see the new born babe. You may even hear the sounds…

New Year’s Eve Dance

The Kinsmen Club of Bible Hill is sponsoring a New Year's Eve Dance, 9 p.m.-1 a.m., at the Bible Hill Junior High School. Tickets are $20 per person and available at MacQuarries Pharmasave on the Esplanade, or from any club member. Steward in attendance; light lunch provided; $500 cash door prize.
