TRURO HEIGHTS – THe Colchester District RCMP is looking for assistance in locating a suspect in an armed robbery in Truro Heights.

Just before 8 a.m. July 15, Colchester District RCMP responded to a robbery at a business on the Truro Heights Connector Road in Truro Heights. The suspect parked at the gas pumps and filled the vehicle with gas before entering the business.

At this time, the suspect held a hand in one pocket and demanded money. The suspect left with a small quantity of cash and failed to pay for the fuel.

The suspect is described as being a male, wearing a dark coloured hoodie, camouflage shorts, and black footwear. He left in an older model Pontiac Montana van, described as being gold with loud exhaust. The van was last seen heading towards Truro on the Truro Heights Connector.
