BIBLE HILL – Award-winning comedian and Atlantic Canadian favourite Shaun Majumder unleashes his new stand-up comedy tour, “Shaun Majumder’s HATE Tour,” in the Maritimes this July with a stop in Bible Hill.

Majumder is joined by opener and good friend Matt Wright in this full-throttle, no-holds-barred dissection of the current times.

“I don’t want to explain too much,” Majumder commented in a press release about the tour. “It’s about the time we live in with all the divisive nature of politics and society. The theme of the tour is HATE.”

The multi-talented TV and film actor/writer/comedian is well-known in the region for his work as co-host on CBC’s “This Hour Has 22 Minutes” as well as from his own TV show “Majumder Manor” on W network, and appearances in “Matching, Hatching and Dispatching” and the “Republic of Doyle.”

Wright is an award-winning stand-up comedian who has performed at festivals and clubs across Canada and, like Majumder, grew up in Newfoundland. Wright is currently a writer with This Hour has 22 Minutes and his album “Vasectomy Baby” went to #2 on the iTunes Canadian Comedy charts.

Majumder is bringing his tour to the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus’s Cumming Hall Alumni Theatre on July 10.

Tickets went on sale April 23. For full tour dates, locations and tickets, visit www.shaunmajumder.com.
